[Unlike during some floods, Vin isn't hiding this time - not even close. She's fascinated by the varied languages she's hearing and is scouring the ship to hear as much as possible in the time she has. Admittedly she spends a greater proportion of her time above deck, in the gardens, and in the CES than anywhere else, but the only place she doesn't visit once is Zero. Everywhere else, she's watching and listening and occasionally muttering quietly in the language of Scadriel.]

[This is the Public Address voice/face, in which Vin is about 10% more social adept than at other times. There's eye contact happening, and that's pretty much all you can ask.]

Mark's gone, you know that, but before he left he . . . mentioned dancing. Dancing lessons, specifically. We talked for a while, and I still want to do them. There's only so much I can teach, because there's only so much I know, but I can start and other people can - teach other things. Later.

I'll be on deck later this afternoon, unless there's a better space.

[Vin is, in fact, on deck, starting at around four in the afternoon, and even if nobody shows up she will at least be practicing various calisthenic-type exercises she learned from Ham. Once a small group gathers, she'll demonstrate a few simple steps - brusquely but effectively - of very old-fashioned ballroom-ish dancing. It's pretty clear she's not the best in the world at this teaching crap, but she's an excellent dancer (in part, but not whole, because of Mistborn cheating).]

[ Megamind appears on deck eventually. He's dressed remarkably well - Edward wore off on him, some; slacks, black sweater vest over a blue button down shirt. Sure, the leather belt still has spikes on it, so it's still Megamind, but he's there all the same. ]

[ Someone is fighting the December blues pretty fiercely, and he's been wrapped up in the consturction of Chris's legs that he knows he needs to see someone who isn't His dog, his inmate, the Emperor, or Chris himself. ]

[Ben always wears comfortable clothes. He's also, due to the weather, wearing one of his jackets; and due to the occasion, he's chosen the nicer tailored one - still military flavored, but with interesting accents and more pockets than strictly necessary - that Aya gave him last year.

And this is quite a change from last year.

He shows up looking curious and alert, not quite certain that he wants anything to do with this, but willing.]

[Iris said she was coming dancing, and here she is. She's wearing a short scarlet-and-black dress with the sort of skirt that flips and twirls nicely when the wearer does, and black fishnet stockings because Iris is classy like that.

She's a good dancer, though; she's fit and agile and flexible, and she has a better-than-human knack for watching a set of movements and reproducing them.]

[Of course, Kelsier is here. Why wouldn't he be here? He's lounging in a higher up spot to watch her teach. That's what really interests him. Never having seen what she did after he was gone... this is a little like watching her grow up all over again.]

[Eventually he jumps down.] Remember when you hated dresses?
